Monthly morning educational presentations and/or tours of unique facilities in Northern Nevada.

Promoting information and resources for enhancing sustainability and energy efficiency, reducing costs, and increasing resiliency. 

TRAINING 
Providing meaningful content and training for skills enhancement and career development from regional and national experts on timely topics that affect facility managers. 



NETWORKING

Meeting face-to-face with fellow facility managers provides opportunities to build community, collaboration and personal relationships, understand mutual needs, and establish a network of resources and contacts within the industry.

Envirolution

Mark is with Envirolution, a STEM education non-profit organization. He is recently retired from Carson City School District as Director of Operations and Sustainability and currently works as  Strategic Coach with Green Schools National Network and as a Consultant / PM with Western Nevada College.




Dr. Ayodele Akinola 
Vice President 
Truckee Meadows Community College 

Dr. Ayodele Akinola is an Executive Director at Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC), and President of the Pacific Coast Association of Physical Plant Administrators (PCAPPA). He is a seasoned facilities executive with strategic agility, financial acumen, and intellectual horsepower with over 26 years of experience in facility management, engineering design, construction, inspection, manufacturing, process control, lean/six sigma, technology implementation, sustainability, and strategic planning.


Brian Foote
Treasurer/Secretary 
BELFOR Property Restoration

Brian Foote, MBA, WRT, AMRT, HCC has been involved with the disaster recovery industry for over 30 years. He was directly involved in major recovery efforts after Hurricane Sandy, the 2014 east coast deep freezes, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma in 2017, the Polar Vortex and Hurricane Irma in 2021, Hurricane Ian in 2022, the California firestorms of 2017-2022, and many other major disasters.

Suzanne Groneman
City of Reno

As the City of Reno Sustainability Manager, Suzanne has worked in the energy and sustainability program and policy sector for over 12 years. Prior to that, she was in commercial real estate for 12 years. Suzanne’s objectives include planning and drafting of green building policies, identification of retrofit projects, seeking and managing grants, assisting with EV charging infrastructure strategy and procurement, and implementing several operational changes under the City Lead by Example motto.


Charlie Hoppe
Washoe County School District

Charlie Hoppe has served as Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping Operation for twenty years at Washoe County School District. Primary responsibilities include overseeing safe operations of over eight million square feet of school and support facilities.  Primary focus and duties include maintaining a clean, dry and healthy learning environment for over 60,000 students.  Education includes an engineering degree with over 25 years experience in educational facilities.


Kim Rios
Keep Truckee Beautiful

Kim is the Sustainability Education Manager for Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful (KTMB). She is responsible for developing and expanding KTMB's community education and outreach programs and helps businesses in Washoe County become certified green businesses in partnership with the Nevada Green Business Network. Kim also serves as co-chair of the Partners for a Sustainable Nevada Education and Outreach Committee, the Sustainability Partners in Northern Nevada group, and is a certified Zero Waste Associate.


Jaime Villarino-Eilenberger
McKinstry

As Project Manager, Jaime works as a reliable liaison between McKinstry’s project team and client stakeholders, ensuring projects are executed with excellence. Jaime prides herself on her integrity and the trust she builds with project teams and clients alike. Throughout her 15+ years in the industry, Jaime has helped countless clients achieve their sustainability construction goals and initiatives while maintaining scope, schedule and budget.
