Anthony Williams is Corporate Director of Facilities for American Casinos and Entertainment Properties and provides oversight for the facilities departments in both the Laughlin, and Las Vegas area. Anthony has been with the organization for three years. Prior to that he was Chief Engineer, Director of Facilities at the Castaways Hotel and Casino.
He has diverse and extensive engineering experience which began when he was an electrician, and switchboard operator in the U.S. Navy. He has served on board the USS Hewitt, and USS Merrill, both DD class Destroyers. Anthony also has received the South West Asia Service Medal for his tour in Operation Desert Storm. Since his honorable discharge Anthony has worked as an operating and maintenance engineer for several industries, including laundry, high-rise, and the hotels. Anthony has climbed up the ranks after working in almost every aspect of the industry. His department credo is: "There’s no such thing as we can’t and no is not an option!" He is motivated by achievements and results, and attains them by adept planning and attention to detail.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management, and an array of different engineering licenses and certifications. Anthony is very proud of the NPFMA and believes the organization creates a very large chain of professional facility managers and there is no weak link.

Kent Miller, FMP, has been with The Groundskeeper for 22 years. Kent is a member of the four person senior management team that leads this $40 million a year company. The Groundskeeper is a full-service landscape management firm that employees over 750 landscape professionals throughout Nevada, Arizona and New Mexico.
Kent is a past president of the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association, the Greater Phoenix chapter of International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the Southern Arizona Chapter of IFMA. He co-founded the Presidents Group in Phoenix. Kent is a committee chair for the Nevada Chapter of IFMA and currently serves as the Southwestern Regional Liaison for the IFMA Foundation. Kent received his Facility Management Professional designation (FMP) from IFMA in 2006.
The Arizona Landscape Contractors Association presented Kent with a lifetime achievement award in 2002. He was recognized as the Associate of the Year for IFMA at the 2005 world conference in Philadelphia for his outstanding contributions to the Facility Management profession. Kent was named the 2005 Professional of the Year by the Southwest Tree and Turf, a publication dedicated to education and professionalism in the arid Southwest.
